Blunk Microsystems Announces Support for Motorola’s MCF5272 ColdFire

San Jose, CA (March 22, 2002) - Blunk Microsystems has added support for Motorola’s MCF5272 ColdFire microcontroller. This support includes the following:

  • TargetOS has been ported to the MCF5272 and provided with a kernel awareness DLL for Metrowerks’ CodeWarrior development tools.
  • A board support package for Motorola’s M5272C3 evaluation board is available. The package includes drivers for the MCF5272 Fast Ethernet, UART, and general purpose timer modules, a flash programmer, low level initialization code, and support for the MCF5272 instruction cache.
  • A turnkey demo of TargetOS for the M5272C3 eval board can be downloaded from www.blunkmicro.com.
