Blunk Microsystems Announces Support for Freescale’s MCF5475/85

San Jose, CA (December 1, 2004) - Blunk Microsystems announces support for Freescale’s MCF5475/85 ColdFire microcontrollers. This support includes the following:

• TargetOS has been ported to the MCF5475/85 and provided with a kernel awareness DLL for Metrowerks’ CodeWarrior development tools.
• A board support package for Freescale’s M5475EVB evaluation board is available. The package includes drivers for the MCF5475 Fast Ethernet, UART, and general purpose timer modules, a flash programmer, low level initialization code, and support for the MCF5475 instruction cache. Standard Platform License of M5475EVB BSP is $5,000.
• Contact Blunk for a turnkey demo of TargetOS for the M5475EVB eval board.
